Made in the UK exclusively for JK, this 469mm thermostat cable fits all Type 4 aircooled 1700cc–2000cc models on T2 Bay, 1971–1979, and 2000cc models onT25, 1979-1983. If shortened to 350mm, it may also be used on the 1600cc CT engine on T25. If your cable is snapped or missing, the cooling flaps will remain in the open position and your engine will take longer to reach its optimum operating temperature.
