This set of 1679cc barrels and pistons will fit 1500 to 1600cc engines using a standard 69mm crank with no machining required making this a easy performance upgrade.
If fitting to a 1300cc engine the cylinder heads will need to be machined or simply replaced with 1600 cylinder heads.
This is a bolt on kit using thin wall cylinders these are more suitable for light weight vehicles such as Beetles and sand rails, due to heat issues we would not recommend use in a T2
