Ernst uses a great mix of traditional techniques, along with the very latest technology in pressing, seam welding and finishing. All their products are TUV approved (TUV is a German quality control certification process that is extremely thorough and hard to obtain). Ernst still produce exhausts for the early 1200cc VW Beetle of the 50s, through to the very last German made Beetle exhausts with twin hot spots. They also manufacture a range for the VW Campers / Transporters that covers the 1200cc 50s models, through the range of T2's, T25s, T4s and now the T5s, including catalytic converters and pipework.
