Hi Torque Starter Motor (12v) T2 Bay 1976-1979 T25 1980-1992

Brand new WOSP hi-torque gear reduction starter motor. Due to the dwindling supply of good quality original Bosch starter motors, we have sourced what we believe is the best quality replacement starter motor available. Featuring a 1.0kw Denso starter, self-supporting armature (no more bushing replacements!) and an offset gear ratio of 4.44:1, this starter will easily handle engines with compression up to 11:1. Fits manual VW T2 Bays from 1976 to 1979, and VW T25 from 1980 to 1992s. Before ordering, please check the length of the starter shaft on your existing model - from the rear of the bendix gear to the tip of the shaft must be 60mm on standard starter motors. Does not fit automatic models, please use J82150.
