Dubs South Campout is a family-run, family-friendly camping weekend that started in 2020, after lockdown gave us serious camping withdrawals.
Our first two years were a huge success and back by popular demand, we’re going bigger than before in a brand new location just eight miles to the east at Hundred Acres by Strawberry Barn, North Boarhunt. Join us for a quintessentially English event where we celebrate the VW campervan community, and all the fun that comes with camping in the Great British countryside. Expect lots of great food, drinks, games and family fun!
Kevin, Trina and the Campout Crew welcome you to this beautiful new field on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
Nestled to the south of the South Downs National Park lies One Hundred Acres, in the peaceful hamlet of North Boarhunt, just two miles east of Wickham, near Fareham, Hampshire. The soil drains quickly and is the perfect place to camp out. The view from the site looks out over the beautiful countryside.
Situated to the south-west of the South Downs National Park, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful nature walks, public footpaths and rolling hills.
When you arrive, you’ll be able to get about on about great walks you can explore right from the site (or slightly further out if you’re looking for more of an adventure!) or explore the cycle path along the Meon Valley.
Nearby, Bishops Waltham has a wonderful old bishops palace to explore. The cycle path follows the much-loved old railway line up the Meon Valley.
The South Downs Way passes close by and rises over the old iron age hill fort of Old Winchester Hill, with all its flora and fauna, but don't worry about climbing it, the road goes to the top. The Meon Valley is full of beautiful villages to wander around. Historic Winchester, Gosport and Portsmouth are just a stone's throw away. It's not far to the beaches either, at Southsea or Lee-on-Solent.
