JK's Exclusive Chairpods
We’re really pleased with our exclusive Just Kampers Chairpods, and we’re pleased with the great feedback we’ve had about them!
These easy and convenient storage pods are designed to replace the interior trim panels on the rear door(s) of your VW Transporter, and let you stash a pair of camping chairs away without them taking up room or rattling around in the back.
There are different options available for the VW T5 / T5.1 and the VW T6 / T6.1, as well as versions for Transporters with double rear doors or a tailgate.
To give you even more options, they’re also available with or without chairs, to give you complete flexibility.
What inspired the JK Chairpods?
Maybe it’s because we’re getting older, but we do enjoy a good sit-down these days!
We’ve been part of the VW community since 1989, and have done a lot of camping over the years. From family holidays to sleeping over at a VW show, we’ve become experts at making the most of the available space in our campers and making sure we always have the essentials with us.
By replacing the plain door cards in your VW Transporter with a JK Chairpod, you’ll always have a pair of camping chairs with you and you won’t have to hear them rattle and clank around in the back of your van while you’re driving!
How are JK Chairpods fitted?
Our JK Chairpods replace the door cards in your Transporter’s rear doors or tailgate, and are attached using the same mounting holes, which means fitting a set takes a matter of minutes.

Tailgate Chairpods:
These chairpod kits are designed to fit VW Transporters with tailgates, and come with a set of replacement gas struts to help support the extra weight of your chairs being stored.
The chairpods themselves quick and easy to install, and fitting your replacement gas struts is really straightforward, too!

Barndoor Chairpods:
If your VW Transporter has a pair of rear doors, also referred to as bard doors, then these are the chairpods for you!
You'll get a pair of chairpods, plus all of the fitting clips you'll need to install them.
All you need to do is remove the existing door cards from your Transporter, and then clip these Chairpods in there instead. The mounting holes in the pods line up perfectly with the mounting points in your Transporter's doors, so there's no cutting or adjusting needed!
