This delivery option lets you collect your order at a time that suits you, stops you needing to wait around for a specific delivery slot, and works out cheaper!
You’ll save £1 on delivery if you select DPD Pickup at the checkout here at justkampers.com, and if the trial works and people find it a helpful option then we’ll look at adding DPD Pickup as a permanent delivery option.

What is DPD Pickup?
DPD Pickup is a service offered by one of our delivery partners, DPD, and lets you select one of over 11,000 DPD Pickup points around the UK to have your order delivered to.
You’ll get a notification once your order has been delivered to your selected DPD Pickup point, as well as information on how to collect it.
This has become a really popular option for a lot of people, as it frees you up from needing to be available to sign for a delivery at a specific time on a specific day, and instead allows you to collect your order from a location of your choosing at a time that suits you.
How Does DPD Pickup Work?
We’re offering you the option to select DPD Pickup as your delivery option when you go to the checkout here at justkampers.com
If you choose DPD Pickup, you’ll then be shown a map of the UK where you can enter your postcode and see all the different DPD Pickup points in your local area. There are over 11,000 of them around the country, so there’s sure to be a few near you!
Once you’ve selected the DPD Pickup location you want your order to be sent to, just finish placing your order as normal and that’s it, you’re done! When DPD collect your order from us they’ll deliver it to the DPD Pickup location that you selected, and you’ll be notified that your order is ready to be collected.
You’ll then have seven days to collect your order. If you don’t pick up your order within that time, it’ll be sent back to us, and we may have to charge you for redelivery.
Is There a Map of DPD Pickup Points?
Yes, there’s a map which shows all the DPD Pickup locations around the UK, and you can enter your postcode to find the closest and most convenient locations for you to collect your order.

Are There Items Which Can’t be Sent Via DPD Pickup?
You’ll be able to select DPD Pickup for the majority of orders, but some items are simply too big to fit into the DPD Pickup lockers.
If your order contains any parts or accessories which are 120cm or longer in any dimension (height, width, or length) then you won’t be shown the option to select DPD Pickup at the checkout here at justkampers.com
Why is DPD Pickup £1 Cheaper?
Having your order delivered using DPD Pickup costs £1 less because we’re being charged £1 less by DPD, and we’re passing that saving straight on to you.
It’s faster and easier for DPD to deliver multiple boxes, packages, and parcels to their DPD Pickup points than it is for them to take each one to a different location. This lets their drivers make all their deliveries sooner and spend less time on the road, which means less fuel is used, which means it’s cheaper for DPD overall.
DPD then charge us £1 less when they deliver to one of their DPD Pickup points, and so we charge you £1 less.
We know that the price of delivery is a big factor when shopping online, and that the cost is rising – we know because we’re also being charged more for deliveries, and are absorbing as much of that cost as we can ourselves – so we’re hoping that DPD Pickup is a cheaper, more convenient delivery option for you.
Can I Use DPD Pickup if I Place My Order by Phone?
Unfortunately, you can only select DPD Pickup for orders placed online here at justkampers.com, as you’ll need to select the DPD Pickup location you want to use from the map of your local area, and there’s no way to do that over the phone.
Is it True That DPD Pickup is Better for the Environment?
Delivering via DPD Pickup is better for the environment because it allows for a lot of packages from different senders to be dropped off at a few DPD Pickup points, rather than each one being delivered to a different address.
This means that DPD’s drivers don’t need to drive as far to make all of their deliveries, and are therefore producing fewer emissions.
