JK's Monthly Newsletter – June 2023
Another month means another Newsletter from Just Kampers, where we let you know what's been going on at JK HQ over the last month and tell you about some of the things to look forward to in the next few months.
We've laid out some of the more interesting happenings in this blog, and we've filmed a video newsletter to go with it, if you prefer to watch your news rather than listen to it. Josh Reynolds and 'Workshop Mark' sat in the workshop here at JK to go through new product arrivals, shows and events, video projects, and how someone busted the engine in Jack, our 1956 Oval Beetle.
Drive Your VW to Work Day
We had a great day on Thursday last week for Drive Your VW to Work Day, which saw the yard outside JK HQ filled with even more Volkswagens than usual.
While the day was initially organised as a celebration of the ever-popular Volkswagen Beetle, it's evolved into a more general celebration of the simple pleasure of jumping into your VW and arriving to work in style.
Loads of the JK Team have got classic and modern VWs, and a lot of us headed into work at JK HQ in our Beetles, T2 Bays, T25s, and more modern Transporters, and even snuck out of work for a bit to have a photoshoot outside!

Bring Your Dog to Work Day
Straight after Drive Your VW to Work Day was Bring Your Dog to Work Day, an event which is fast becoming traditional at Just Kampers.
Wanting to improve on last year’s group photo, we managed to do pretty well with some very excited dogs! Well done to Tilly, Bela, Holly, Benji, Holly, and Ebony for being so great all day, and for sitting nicely so we could get this cool photo!

We're Hiring: Temporary Warehouse Role at JK
We're looking for a temporary member of the JK Team to lend a hand in our 40,000-square-foot warehouse over the summer. Orders are flying out the doors here, and we need some help to keep up the pace!

We’re after a T4!
Following the success of ‘Project 22’, which saw us turn an entry-level VW T6.1 from bare van into dream camper for under £10,000, we’re looking to do the same on a VW T4.
The catch this time is that we want to do the whole thing for £4,000, including buying the van! If you’ve got a half-decent T4 for sale that we might be able to use in our upcoming Project T4K, get in touch!
