The First Ever People’s Air-Cooled Show Was an Absolute Triumph!
The UK Volkswagen and Porsche scene just found its new favourite annual tradition. Organised by the brilliant Steve Parson, the inaugural People’s Air-Cooled Show took centre stage at the iconic British Motor Museum.

From early morning, the museum's massive car park was completely taken over by a sea of stunning air-cooled vehicles. The sun was out in full force, the atmosphere was buzzing, and for a moment, it genuinely felt like we were at a legendary Californian car meet right in the heart of Warwickshire!
Even though this was only the first year this event has ever run, the community showed up in massive numbers. The turnout was incredible, creating a fantastic, inclusive, and relaxed atmosphere that reminded everyone exactly why they fell in love with classic car culture in the first place.

Each sponsor of the event was given the chance to award their favourite vehicle at the show. Steve, JK’s MD, chose this absolutely stunning Crew Cab Split as our Winner of the show! Two Shows for the Price of One
As if the rows of pristine air-cooled metal weren't enough, the event offered an unbeatable added bonus. Every single show ticket granted visitors completely free entry into the British Motor Museum itself!
Attendees got to escape the midday sun to explore the museum's extensive, world-class collection of historic British vehicles. It made the entire day incredible value for money and the perfect day out for die-hard enthusiasts and families alike.

Overall, it was a fantastic show. It was great to catch up with so many familiar faces from the scene and equally brilliant to welcome some fresh new ones to the community.
The foundations have been laid, the feedback has been glowing, and the bar has been set incredibly high. We absolutely cannot wait to see The People’s Air-Cooled Show make a triumphant return next year.
