Check out one of the latest new arrivals here at JK HQ! We've been working alongside our friends at Slaughter House Customs to create these LED Multi-Functional Rear Light Upgrades, which will give you brighter and more visible tail lights, brake lights, indicators, and reverse lights.
Made right here in the UK by Slaughter House Customs, these LED upgrades are designed to fit neatly inside your Hella rear light unit (or an aftermarket reverse light assembly) and replace the existing lights with LEDs which are easier for other road users to see.
Quick and simple to fit, you'll have brighter rear lights, brake lights, reverse lights, and indicators without sacrificing the retro styling of your classic VW.
There are two different kits available, one for Volkswagens with 6-volt vehicles and another for 12-volt VWs. Each one comes with a pair of LED upgrade circuits, which can be fitted to your rear light assemblies and wired in pretty quickly.

How do these new LED rear light upgrades work?
The LED upgrades themselves have been designed to fit nicely inside a pair of Hella Chrome Reversing Lights, which act as the housing for the circuits and keep everything looking stylish and original on the rear of your Volkswagen. They'll also fit into an aftermarket Reversing Light Assembly, if you don't want to splash out on a Hella version.
You'll just need to open up the reversing light housings, and remove the original lighting system from inside them. With that done, you can slot the LED upgrades into the housing and feed the cabling through it, then reassemble the body of the reversing light unit. This cabling then gets connected into your vehicles wiring, and you're ready to go!
Once it's installed and you're happy with how it's working, you'll get:
• Brighter tail lights,
• Brighter brake lights,
• Brighter reverse lights,
• Brighter indicators.
This all helps you to be more easily seen by other road users, which will help to keep you and your classic VW safe while you're out and about.
