We just got back from the epic celebration of the VW Split Screen at this year’s Goodwood Revival, and had an incredible time!
2025 marks 75 years since the first VW T2 Split Screen went into mass production, a milestone which was celebrated at Goodwood Revival. The main parade each day at the show was filled with an amazing range of Split Screen buses, all cruising around the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit in front of a crowd of thousands.
The weather may not have been great, but it didn’t stop 2025’s Goodwood Revival being an unmissable weekend of motorsport, with a huge focus on the iconic VW Split.

The VW Split Screen Parade at Goodwood Revival
There’s a special parade each year at Goodwood Revival, which focusses on a particular vehicle or group of vehicles. In 2024 they celebrated 60 years of the Meyers Manx beach buggy, and in 2025 the opening parade was all about the VW Split Screen.
In total there were well over 100 different Splits which took to the track each morning at Revival, covering the whole range of production years from 1955 to 1967. We helped the Goodwood Revival team to get in touch with some of the T2 Split Screen owners, and it was great to play a small part in helping the epic parade come together!
We even managed to get Nick and Rae from the JK Team trackside to take photos, record video, and interview some of the Split Screen owners. They even managed to talk their way into a few of the Splits so they could film the parade taking place from the perspective of the drivers!
You can find even more photos and videos of the VW T2 Split Screen parade at Goodwood Revival on the Just Kampers Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as videos on our YouTube channel.

Just Kampers and the Daniel Arsham T2 Split
Speaking of our YouTube channel, you might have seen that we’ve recently been working on fixing up a VW T2 Split Screen for the Goodwood team, getting it ready for Goodwood Revival. We’ve posted a few videos about it, and the Split was at Revival, but you probably wouldn’t have recognised it!
That’s because the whole Bus has been totally transformed with a gorgeous design by contemporary visual artist Daniel Arsham.
His artwork drew inspiration from the Haight-Ashbury celebration at Goodwood Revival, which championed the spirit of the ’60s and the Summer of Love, and evoked the iconic ‘hippie’ makeovers of T2 Splits from the 1960s. This artwork was then turned into a wrap by 3M and applied by their team, and the results are incredible!
We had the opportunity to take some photos of the T2 Split when it returned to us here at JK HQ after being wrapped to have a few last-minute issues worked out (little things like making sure the wipers worked, which was just as well given the weather over the Goodwood Revival weekend!)
Nick did a fantastic job of capturing the incredible artwork on the T2 Split, and you can see more of these photos on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

The JK Team at Goodwood Revival
We had a stand at Revival this year, for the first time ever! It was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new people, and chat about all things VW, from insurance to fixing windscreen wipers.
Our colleagues from our sister company Just Kampers Insurance joined us over the weekend, offering quotes and talking to people about the benefits of getting vehicle cover through Just Kampers Insurance.

Several of the JK Team were on our stand all weekend, along with a few of our vehicles including Jack, our ‘56 Oval Beetle which we drove in the 2017 Mille Miglia, climbing over 200 places, and our red 1971 VW T2 Bay which we built with our friends from EMPI and drove to EBI in 2024.
We also had our Engine Fire Fighters for sale, a whole board of recent vehicle for sale ads from our Just Kampers Marketplace, and goodie bags which we handed out to the drivers of the VW T2 Split Screens who took part in the parade.
Our friends from Jopex joined us on our stand, too, where they were displaying a few of their latest products and giving away some great gifts, including branded umbrellas which were very popular due to the poor weather!

It was great to catch up with so many people over the weekend, and to hear such great feedback from so many of you while we were there. Thank you to everyone who dropped by to see us at Goodwood Revival, whether you wanted a chat, needed to ask a technical question, or just wanted to get out of the rain for a while!
We’ll leave you with a few more of our photos from the weekend, taken by Nick, Rae, and a few others from the JK Team, and hope that we’ll see you again at another show in the near future.
