Have you named your VW and where does it come from?:
Cliffy – named after my Dads middle name which we used to laugh about.
When and where did you buy your VW?
I bought it in 2012/13 – from a friend who had originally imported it for himself.
What have you done to your VW since you have owned it?
Pretty much everything it’s a 100% complete rework. I wouldn’t say it was a quick project but the finished article is pretty cool, so it was worth the wait.
What are your future plans for the VW?
Its pretty much where I want it to be.

I learned to drive in a Mark 2 Golf and I drive a VW California as my main vehicle.

Who enjoys your VW?
We regularly camp in the California – the kids love it
Where do you like to go in your camper?
I don’t take it too far to be honest. I drove my friend to his wedding the first day I took it on the road and it was one of the most stressful experiences ever. I live in Cardiff and it seems every road has a speed bump, which makes driving it quite difficult (I’m considering lifting it slightly – you live and learn with these things that’s for sure.
Do you have any amusing or fantastically memorable stories whilst enjoying your VW?
As its pretty new on the road for me – my only real experience was that of the stressful wedding.
