Early Bay Tin Top 1971 T2 Day Van

Madge is a 1971 VW T2 Early Bay Day Van. Historic vehicle so Tax and MOT exempt. Always garaged in the 6 years, we’ve had her. V5 in my name registered as a Motor Caravan. First registered in UK May 1971, with 12 previous owners. Exterior She is in very good working condition, no rot, but paint is dull in places, previous owner restored around 2009, so could now do with TLC. Mechanical Air cooled 1641 engine with recent new heat exchangers, carb, distributor etc. pancake filter and 4 tip Monza exhaust. Recent new fuel lines and filter. Lowered on coil-overs, with Porsche wheels. Brakes are excellent front discs with braided lines. New Battery and 4 tyres. Interior Currently set up as a day van, with 5 belted leather seats. Insulated and sound deadening added, would be an easy camper conversion project. Does need new heater control cables fitting, which are included. Extras Comes with new standard exhaust, original oil bath air filter, heater control cables and other spares if required.
