VW T25 1982 Devon Moonraker

Still loved, but outgrown, 1982 (X-reg) VW Devon Moonraker campervan for sale. Our van has provided us with 12 years of holiday memories and we’ve never had to call out the AA! We’ll be sorry to see the van go…This 2.0l air-cooled, petrol version has clocked up just short of 77k miles, has an MOT until the end of June ’22 and is thereafter MOT and tax exempt. The van is in good condition with below average rust (helped by Waxoil treatment to the underside) and (mostly) original internal décor. In two colours, bambusgelb and elfenbein, the van is still true to the original Devon conversion. The 4-birth interior includes the original sink, water butt, Porta Potti, table, rock and roll bed, fridge, gas burner and grill, all in working order, and some upgrades. The carpet trim has been replaced, there are Saab front seat upgrades, new tyres, a CD player, new Bosch battery, tow bar, wiring for a split charge leisure battery, new curtains and a 240V hook-up. Mechanically the van is sound, but money has been spent keeping her that way (for which there is a paper trail for those interested). Restorative and preventative work under our stewardship has included replacement rear trailing arms, a new track rod end, some welding work, new clutch cylinders, new plugs, leads and distributor. There have also been some cosmetic repairs to the bodywork and the replacement of cab window rubbers. Sale of the van comes with some goodies. We include a large Bluebird driveway awning and a smaller sun canopy-type awning, a JK breathable cover, an 8 piece thermomat set, levelling chocks, new silver VW hub caps and a new exhaust tail pipe.
