1972 Westfalia Orange T2 Bay for sale

“Heulwen”, our 1972 Bay window - VW Westfalia Campervan is for sale. We have owned her since June 2018, and we have shared many family camping trips and adventures with our two children. Very solid vehicle which has been amazing to own. Due to the fact we are not using her as much as she deserves, we are reluctantly selling. She is a great runner RHD, manual gearbox, new battery and reconditioned 1600cc air cooled engine which provides just enough power to get you up the hills fully loaded. She starts after a little persuasion, and cruises comfortably at 55mph although she usually sits nearer 50mph. She is guaranteed to put a smile on everyone's face every time you take her out. We have stored her in a garage since owning her and only done some minor welding to support the refit of original seats. The previous owner restored and repainted as a project and did a nice job. This is a great example of a solid T2 bay campervan, that is close to original spec in terms of interior, that can be used from day one. Comes with a box full of spares, including hammock, exterior visor, wheel chains, electric conversion kit and various other bits and pieces. Things to be aware of: automatic choke takes a while to disengage. Has a few spots of rust that need touching up and a roof bar that needs re-attaching.
