Description

Just Kampers Australia ADR Approved Rock 'n' Roll Bed!

After several years and countless development hours, Just Kampers Australia can now finally offer an ADR approved Rock 'n' Roll bed to our customers. These units have been reinforced and tested to meet ADR VBS5. Width adjustable, metal-framed, rock 'n' roll bed fits any rear engined VW van.

Minimum width of 1m, maximum of 1.5m. Can be adjusted to provide either a single or a double bed which fits your interior. The powder-coated frame comes flat packed.

Please Note: You will need to source your own boards to complete the job. Once you've decided on the width, these boards are bolted onto the frame. Due to the sturdiness of the framework, you will need only 9mm plywood or MDF.

If being fitted to a T25 you will need to build a 12 cms raised platform over the engine area to match the height of the bed in the lowered position.

    • Can you confirm that these have not been crashed tested as rear passenger 'seats' and therefore only designed to be slept on and not to be used as rear passenger seats when moving?
    • Answer: We have not had these crash tested as we have been told it is not necessary as the seatbelts are fitted to the vehicle not the seat,

    • Do the hinges on this bed have springs so you can lock the base in different positions (like your other hinges do). ie raise the base and it stays up so you can get in the cupboard. The spring mech is also used to push the bed back into a seat easily on the other hinges you sell. thanks
    • Answer: The design of these beds is different to the brackets we do, so the small spring is not necessary on this unit. There is no facility for locking the seal in any position other than seating or as a bed
