Condenser for VW Beetle and VW T2 1970–1972

This Bosch quality condenser fits standard distributors on Beetle and T2 1970–1972. It has a round ‘bung’ shape with two flats that fit through a hole in the side of the distributor. Please check suitability before ordering. Its purpose in a coil ignition circuit is to reduce the spark at the contact points as they open – minimising burning and pitting of the points and so extending their lives.
