Depending on specification, VW recommend that your cam belt is changed every 60,000–80,000 miles - or four years. Don't forget to check as a snapped belt can lead to severe engine damage. This T4 belt fits the 2.4 diesel from September 1990 onward; the 2500cc turbo diesel injection from May 1998 to 2004; and the petrol injection 2500cc, 1990 to July 1995.
