The F80s awning from Fiamma offers fantastic functionality, quality and durability.Replacing the F65s awning series, the F80s iteration is sleeker (offering a slimmer case profile) and is therefore even more aerodynamic, compact, and less obtrusive.The F80s range covers a size range of 290 - 450 cm awnings. With the F80L series covering larger campervan and motorhomes with the range covering 450 – 600 cm.This awning is the F80s 400 with Polar White case and Royal Blue canopy, but other colour options are available.The F80s is a roof mounted awning which sits, with the help of vehicle specific brackets on top of your vehicle. With a sleek appearance, housed in its own extruded aluminium, light but sturdy, case, and finished in a Polar White colourway.The brackets are available separately and must be purchased to suit the specific vehicle application.The canopy itself, finished here in Royal Blue, features a pleasing graduated blue style on both the upper and lower sides of the fabric.The canopy features a 7 layered protective surface that is treated to be UV resistant, waterproof, and rot-proof is incredibly strong and durable.The F80s is structurally smaller than the previous F65s awning and it's shape integrates better with the shape of most modern vehicles.The new design allows for LED lighting on the lead bar (shining back towards the vehicle) and on the awning case (shining away from the vehicle) and now has three guides on the lead bar allowing the use of more accessories, such as front panels or awning hangers.The awning legs can be fixed to the ground, or to the wall, and the height of the lead bar can be adjusted with a telescopic safe and practical system.The articulated awning arms are now wider and reinforced with double steel cable for optimal canopy tensioning.A Motor Kit can also be fitted and is available in two versions… the Motor Kit Compact with a wall control panel or the Plus version with a wall control & remote control. Why Fiamma?Fiamma was established in 1945 by Norma and Arnaldo Pozzi. Fiamma is a company that does not stand still.F80s Awning Features:The F80s is designed to offer the best in flexible functionality.Featuring a three-way guide system that allows for additional panels and accessories you will be able to quickly turn awning into room with the addition of a variety of optional extras.The lead bar also allows for (optional) LED lighting strips that can be used in two positions so that directional lighting can be utilised to illuminate the canopy area and outside.A more compact case than the previous F65, offering a more slimline profile.With secure lock legs that allow for either ground or wall mounted fixings in conjunction with smooth motion telescopic legs that allow you to set the height of the awning canopy. Especially useful when you are using the awning in light rain as you can set one side slightly lower than the other to allow for rainfall run off.The articulated arms are reinforced and feature double steel cable which allows for optimal use, reliable, continual use.The seam free canopy is extremely strong and durable.Visible loop for ease of operation.More than 40 different vehicle specific brackets available.A dual shock absorber deftly minimises any shocks.A Roller Support facilitates the rolling up of fabric and One Way Roll prevents the canopy from rolling the incorrect way.The Secure Lock adjusts the lead bar height, allows for extra security should the canopy not be lock properly into place and helps to maintain consistent correct alignment which might otherwise degrade over time.This model is 3.7M long and with Polar White Outer Box and Royal Blue fabric.Canopy:All canopies are printed on both sides and are made without seams to prevent areas of potential failure which allows them to be further resistent to water ingress, tearing or weak points for potential degradation over time.The canopies have an anti scratch coat outer, printed vinyl, and adhesive layers on both sides of a high strength polyester inner.This ensures an incredibly strong canopy, higher resistance to UV rays, greater resistance to degradation, waterproof and rot proof. For our tips on how to clean and care for your canopy see below!)Canopy care tipsThe fabric in the canopies can be affected in extremes of temperatures. Extended long exposures to extreme heat can result in wrinkles when you close the canopy - this can result in the case failing to close completely. The security winch will ensure that the security of the canopy is not compromised. To rectify this re-open the canopy, leave in the sun and re-close when cooler.Should it be necessary to close the canopy whilst damp; un-wind the canopy at the soonest opportunity and allow it to dry completely before storing back away. (Extended periods whereby the awning is stored damp can result in damp spots).Most dirt on the awning will be superficial and can be easily tackled with water and a cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed with the aid of a light detergent.Do not use harsh or abrasive chemicals or high pressure cleaning tools as this can negatively affect the longevity of your canopy surface.
