It's also supplied with studs so it can be mounted to the heat exchanger.The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) number for this part is 025251053P.
Made to last, this heavy gauge steel silencer features continuous seam welds instead of spot welds found on cheaper, less durable versions. Made to the original VW specification, they fit T2s (1700cc–2000cc) 1972–1979; and T25s (2000cc aircooled and 1900cc watercooled) up to 1985. Comes with studs to mount to the heat exchanger – and, as it’s the original specification, should fit first time!
